Finance Manager (Part-Time)

Salary c.£15 p/h DOE 

McKinty Associates are delighted to be working with a client with an immediate need for an experienced Finance Manager on a Part-Time basis.

It is envisaged that the hours will be c.22/week but this may fluctuate slightly.

**This role offers a hybrid working pattern**

Key Duties:

• Provide financial management development and direction of the organisation.
• Implementation of all financial systems and procedures to ensure best practice and adherence to all applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor and manage financial performance including production of finance reports including expense reporting, budgets and forecasts.
• Filing of all accounting documentation to create audit trail.
• Provide all necessary information, analysis and assistance to the organisation’s auditors.
• Ensure compliance with all financial statutory reporting and filing according to HMRC.
• Manage recording of income and expenditure.
• Payroll.
• Act as cheque signatory for and authorise expenditure up to limits as agreed by the governing body.
• Ensure appropriate authorisation, timing and despatch of payments.
• Work as part of the management team and contribute to decision making.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as directed by the Board of Trustees as required.

Eligibility criteria:

• A minimum of 3 years, experience in a finance role
• Finance qualification, IATI, ATT or equivalent
• Practical knowledge of computerised accounts package
• Experience of preparing financial reports
• Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload
• Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
• Strong planning and organising skills
• Good numeracy and time management skills
• Keen eye for detail
