Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Salary c.£26K – £28K FTE DOE

On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the busy Finance team within this wholesale business on a Part-Time basis. Working alongside the Group Assistant Accountant this will be a varied and diverse role providing key support to the Groups shared services function.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

• Bank reconciliations.
• Company credit cards
• Manage and maintain invoicing discounting system.
• Weekly and monthly Management Reports.
• Management and submission of applicable HMRC and other statutory returns.
• Supplier query resolution.
• Supplier payment processing.
• Ad hoc duties as required to assist Group Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant.

Eligibility criteria:

• Experience working as part of a busy finance team (2+ years)
• Relevant accounting qualifications (IATI etc.)
• Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages
• Good communications Skills (High standard of English / Maths essential)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
• Strong Analytical skills
• Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
• Have a methodical and meticulous work aptitude
