Lisburn (BT28)

Salary c. £30K – £35K DOE

Our client is an all-Ireland growing group of companies within the wholesale sector.  They have engaged McKinty Associates to find an experienced Accounting Technician to join their Group accounts department.

Main Duties:

• Bank reconciliations
• Sales and purchase ledger
• Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
• Credit control
• Bank payment processing
• Assisting in preparation of VAT returns
• Assisting in preparation of payroll
• Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts
• Ad Hoc duties as required

Eligibility criteria:

• Min 5+ years’ experience working as part of a busy finance team.
• IATI qualification (or equivalent) – preferable.
• Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages (Sage Line 50 or similar).
• High level of expertise in use of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.
• Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and time management skills.
• Keen eye for detail.
